Clarification on Speech-to-Text API Availability

I am working on a project called Audiscribe, a Chrome extension designed to provide real-time captions for any audio playing in the browser. It leverages AI to enhance accessibility by transcribing speech into text dynamically, benefiting users with hearing impairments, language barriers, or challenging listening environments.

While planning to use Google's Speech-to-Text API for live transcription, I noticed it doesn't appear to be listed under the built-in AI APIs. I would like to confirm if it is included, and if not, whether it is a separate, paid service.
