Still Getting "Your browser doesn't support the Prompt API. " despite the "'readily' result

When I follow https://chrome.dev/web-ai-demos/prompt-api-playground/, I am still seeing "Your browser doesn't support the Prompt API. ..." despite "(await ai.languageModel.capabilities()).available;" returning "readily" in DevTools. Also, testing the API in my local project, I'm getting "ai is not defined"
