Hackathon Entrants Eligibility

Hi, According to the rules of 'NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. CONTEST IS OPEN TO EVERYONE EXCEPT FOR RESIDENTS OF BRAZIL, QUEBEC, CRIMEA, CUBA, IRAN, SYRIA, NORTH KOREA, SUDAN, BELARUS, RUSSIA, VIETNAM, AND THE SO-CALLED DONETSK PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OR LUHANSK PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC. '

I am currently residing in Australia as an International student. If my home country is part of that list. Does that mean I am not eligible to join?

    Hi there, thanks for your interest in the Google Chrome Built-in AI Challenge! If you are paying taxes to or considered a permanent resident of one of the countries listed in the rules, you would unfortunately not be able to participate.

    Hi @Dani, thanks for the reply. I have a citizenship in Vietnam, however I currently do not live there, so I am not paying tax there. I am however, also a permanent resident of the US. Do you think I would be eligible in this case with the US green card?

    I recommend you speak with your accountant or a tax advisor. If you are a permanent resident, you should be okay!
